Program Overview
Accounting and Finance is an essential business function in any business or enterprise and proper functioning of the accounting and finance department is crucial for the potential growth. In any organization, Accounting and Finance department deals with financial planning, monitoring and accounting and a Finance Manager is responsible for daily reporting, analyzing targets, monthly reporting, forecasting and monitoring cashflow. The specialization pathway in Accounting and Finance will focus on financial statement, securities and exchange commissions, ratio and financial analysis, financial decision making and financial risk management. During the study, the students will also be exposed to GAAP and IFRS principles.
The one year MBA (Master of Business Administration) in Accounting and Finance is a comprehensive program designed for the professionals who are looking forward for a great career in accounting and financed domain. Post completion of the program, the learners will be awarded with a postgraduate diploma in accounting and finance from Cambridge International Qualifications, UK and an MBA in Accounting and Finance from Universdiad Catolica de Murcia, UCAM.
The students enrolling with MBA in Accounting and Finance will undertake the core modules on International Human Resources, Strategic Change Management, Strategic Management and Leadership and Operations Management and specialized modules in Management Accounting, Finance and Financial Risk Management in First Part while in the second part the students will take the module on Socio – Economic – Legal Environment and a thesis work.
Program Outline - Part-A
The part A consists of six modules out of which four modules are core while two are specialized modules. The six modules will be deliver over a period of six months. All the learners who complete the part A will attain 40 ECTS which is equivalent to 80 UK Credits.

Program Outline - Part-B
The part B consists of a mandatory module and a thesis work. The part B will last for six months duration and all the learners will complete the part A and Part B will be awarded with a degree in MBA in Accounting and Finance from UCAM Spain and will attain 60 ECTS (European Credit Transfer System) which is equivalent to 180 UK credits.

Management Accounting and Finance: This module is designed to inform and help the students, gain adequate awareness of the various aspects of financial statement evaluations through conduct of ratio analysis as a quantitative tool and its application for introspecting, comparing existing business strategies whilst considering the impact of macro-economic and macro business factors on the functioning and operations of business in a global context.
Critically analyze the use of the key functional areas of marketing, strategy, finance, accounting and operations management in support of wider organizational activity.
Analyze strategic perspectives regionally, nationally and internationally at organization and sector levels.
Critically evaluate the relationship between the organization and its business environment and the importance and nature of organizational change and transformation.
Critically analyze contemporary issues, challenges and problems relating to business and management that impact on business and management at functional, strategic andsector levels.
Evaluate the role and contribution of integrative strategic and leadership approaches.
Synthesize relevant critical thinking through organizational research completing an independent Accounting & Finance Assignment
Financial Risk Management:
This module has been designed to provide learners with a solid understanding of managing Risk in Financial institutions. The module also explores the role of Risk as an effective instrument in managing Financial discrepancies.

Understand the control of performance management and internal control environment for risk control
Understand the financial statement and decision analysis, including risk management
Know the shareholder/ corporate value creation, including M&A’s and disposals

Program Delivery:
The dual certification MBA Program at SDIM will be facilitated by renowned faculty with decades of experience in the domain. During the program, the students will be exposed to industry specific case studies, business simulations and extempore. All the students enroll for MBA program will have access to the library of SDIM, Ebrary access with 1000s of journals and books, regular industry leader visits and career fairs
Post completion of the program, the student has an option of attending the university convocation in the campus of UCAM, Murcia, Spain.
The program will be deliver through state of the art online learning system and all the learners will have access to international journals and books. All the programs will be deliver by international faculty and student can attend the live lectures from senior international faculties by logging in the system. All the sessions will be recorded and the students can listen the lectures at free time. The LMS has option for doubt clarification session and online classroom activity. The classes will be held twice a week (Sunday and Tuesday) for three hours each.
