Dr. William E Painter.
Dr. Painter holds a Ph.D. from the University of Missouri-Columbia. He was awarded a Fellowship at the Master’s level and was the Teaching Assistant for the Chancellor of the University of Missouri. He is published in the fields of Medieval History, Renaissance History, Online Education, Business Management, and Supply Chain Logistics. He was responsible for creating and administering Europe’s first online MBA program under the High Business School Groupe Ecole Superieure de Commerce, Pau, France. He was also responsible for developing and launching the UK’s first online BA (Hons) degree program through NCC Education, a program that was deployed throughout NCC Education’s 350 centers in 45 countries. He launched the most successful online program to date (a Master of Public Health) and mapped out program development across several disciplines while being recruited by Laureate Online Education as the International Director and late assumed the role of Chief Academic Officer for the University of Liverpool/Laureate partnership. He also launched the least expensive online degree program available in the United States by working with Saylor Academy and City Vision University.
He has also served as Chair of the Social and Culture Studies Department for Stephens College, Dean of International Studies for City Vision University, and Executive Director of Bellevue University’s Center for Online Studies where he managed all product development and online courses. Dr. Painter has consulted for Merck Pharmaceuticals, the Michigan Community College Association, and several for-profit universities and venture capital funds. In his capacity as Executive Director of Online Education at Bellevue University, he provided management education consulting for Home Depot, Verizon, Keiwitt Construction, and Cramer Kreski Designs in Omaha, Nebraska. He is a registered consultant for the Business Talent Group in the United States and provides consulting work in the higher education and international education sectors.
